In 1846, William Thoms coined the term "folk-lore" to replace the stuffy "popular antiquities." He wanted to honor the "lore of the people" - the myths, the legends, the songs passed down through generations. Folklore studies has come a long way since those days; this collection is a nod to the legacy.

This varsity-style letterman jacket brings vintage energy to modern streetwear. Midweight and slightly structured, the black body with bold “folk-lore” script across the back and a smaller chest logo is set off by contrasting sleeves with letter "f" accents. Soft against the skin from ringspun cotton, garment-dyed for a lived-in color and texture, and tailored with striped ribbing and snap closures that nod to classic athletic wear.
